Eastwood Hall

“First stay at Eastwood with my 13 year old son and husband. We picked this hotel first for the table tennis, there aren’t many with them! We weren’t sure what to expect, but it went way above our expectations. The 4/5 is a reflection that some areas of the hotel are dated or slightly tired. Our room on second floor was lovely and spacious with a huge double and single, good view out to the trees. We booked on the winter offer, with which we got breakfast. This was buffet and recommend you dont arrive too late as they didn’t appear to top up after say 9.15am. Food was really good as was the hospitality, wide range of options cereals, pastries, cooked options, but no vegetarian option as such, but you could have all the main elements minus meat. We had a meal at the bar on first night and this was reasonably priced pizzas. The games room is great and can be accessed after gym closes. The pool is open to children during the school holidays and we didn’t realise, but best to contact for specific hours. The pool is small but lovely and relatively warm, small jacuzzi, steam and sauna. There is also a gym you can use. Overall we loved our stay and fully intend to return”

“Very nice hotel, all the staff were pleasant and helpful, however the check in attendant, Megan, was quite frosty. She looked my partner up and down as if to say 'what is he doing here' and I had to repeat saying hello for her to respond. We didn't allow that first impression to spoil our stay there and as stated the rest of the staff were very good.”

“Just had a very pleasant stay on a 3 day conference. The Service has been outstanding, The food was very good with a veritable menu with fully disclosed allergens. Plenty of comfortable seating and gorgeous views surrounding the property. Tilly in the Bar area has been wonderful tending to our evening needs. The only frustration is the weak signal and WIFI throughout the resort and the lack of hairdryers in the Gym changing rooms. We look forward to our next visit!”

“The room was really lovely. We stayed in a superior double. The reason it’s not 5⭐ is that we went in the heat wave and the fan in the room was not very good and there was no air con. Everything else was perfect. The staff and service was brilliant absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The location is good but a car is needed to explore the area. The hotel is a hidden gem - I live close to Eastwood and I didn’t know it existed. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is clean, fresh, modern and comfortable. We took our dog and there were no issues.”

“We had our wedding reception at Eastwood Hall following our elopement in Scotland the month prior. Holly - who organised everything for us, from advice on the room space, set up, decoration, plan for the evening and so much more was amazing. We felt very assured that everything would be sorted. On the evening, Dan and the team were fantastic, kept us to schedule despite forgetting our plan for first dance and cake cutting etc due to having so much fun. Beautiful venue, the room was perfect, fish and chip supper was beautiful and the resident DJ was also fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better vibe. We stayed the night along with some of our guests and breakfast the next day was lovely. Very relaxed atmosphere and a lovely place for a wedding reception. Thank you so much”

“We came to Eastwood Hall on the Dinner B&B 2 night stay deal. The price was amazing. First impressions, reception staff were lovely and check in so easy. We asked for an upgrade and that was granted with no fuss. Over the weekend the food was amazing from the bar to the restaurant at dinner. The leisure facilities were good and what we wanted, using the sauna, steam room and pool. Now for the best bit…….. The Staff. They are so customer focused and the younger ones, who you might not expect to be, are so confident and interactive with customers. A special shout out to Tillie and Ben at the bar as well as Eun in the Restaurant. I’ve already mentioned the reception staff, but they were all amazing and a credit to the brand. Final test, will we come back? Yes.”
